TeenWorks
The TeenWorks Program™ allocates grants of up to $1000 to teens doing
community service
projects throughout Monroe County. These projects must
be designed, implemented and
carried out by teenagers. more...
Youth Allocation Panel
An opportunity will be
offered to high school students at all of the public school districts in
Monroe
County, as well as the Monroe Career and Technical Institute, Notre Dame
High
School, Evergreen Community Charter School, Shawnee Academy/Beacon
School, and
the Tobyhanna Christian Academy. At least two students from each school
will be asked to
participate on the panel. The students will be in
charge
of reviewing and evaluating funding
applications pertaining to projects
that
benefit the children and youth of Monroe County.

Monroe County Youth Program Inventory Project
The United Way of Monroe County, in partnership with Pocono Alliance
and Community
Partners of the Poconos, is looking for additional youth
programs
to be included in a new
online resource. Programs can include
after-school, weekend, and/or summer activities for
young people ages 12
to
19. Providers have until August 1 to enter their data via the United
Way’s Web site.
